Allyship Summit – 8 August
On 8 August - International Allyship Day - the Allies for Uluru together with the University of Wollongong and the Woolyungah Indigenous Institute presented the inaugural National Allyship Summit bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership with Allies to chart the course forward towards justice and a better Australia. Voice Town Hall – 22 August
Allies for Uluru facilitated a Community information forum in Meanjin (Brisbane) to hear from Uluru Dialogue and Yes23 Campaign leaders Megan Davis and Dean Parkin and Queensland Truth and Treaty Body board member Aaron Fa'aoso.
CEO Forum – 23 May
Allies for Uluru CEO's came together on Gadigal Country (Sydney) to discuss and workshop 'Activating for Uluru' ahead of the 6th Anniversary of the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
Allies support Referendum question
On 23 March 2023, the Allies for Uluru released a statement of support for the proposed referendum question and held a media conference at Parliament House, Canberra. Read the statement of support on our Media page.
Allies for Uluru Coalition launch
On 28 February 2023, more than 80 organisations, representing thousands of staff and tens of thousands of supporters, gathered in Naarm (Melbourne) for the official launch of the Allies for Uluru Coalition and committed to participation in ongoing action and collaboration in the campaign for a constitutionally enshrined Voice to Parliament.
Activate for Uluru CEO Forum
November 2022, hosted by Gilbert + Tobin on Gadigal land (Sydney). The executives of the Fred Hollows Foundation, Oxfam, ACOSS, ANTAR and other civil society organisations were in attendance. Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney as well as Pat Anderson and Megan Davis of the Uluru Dialogues addressed the Forum.
