National Allyship Summit 2024
Allies for Uluru together with the University of Wollongong and the Woolyungah Indigenous Centre presented the inaugural National Allyship Summit on International Allyship Day, 8 August 2024. The Summit explored key themes of Voice, Treaty and Truth and how allies could continue to support the implementation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. The event aimed to foster collaboration, understanding, and solidarity among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders and ally organisations in pursuit of recognition and justice.
With keynote speakers Pat Anderson AO - Uluru Dialogue Co Chair, and Dr Summer May Finlay, and panelists including Prof Bronwyn Fredericks - University of Queensland; Geoff Scott - CEO Just Reinvest NSW, Uluru Dialogue; Thomas Mayo - Uluru Statement advocate, author; and Jaki Adams - The Fred Hollows Foundation.
